Pharma students shine

GUNTUR: Students of Chebrolu Hanumayya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CHIPS) performed well in the B. Pharmacy examinations (third semester), the results of which were declared recently, college principal Suryadevara Vidyadhara said on Tuesday.

He said that 42 out of 66 students who appeared for the examination passed out in distinction, while 20 students secured 80 per cent. M. Raghava Kalyan secured 92.6 per cent, followed by R. Krishna Sowjanya (90 per cent).

College president K. Basava Punniah, secretary and correspondent M. Gopala Krishna complimented the students on their achievement. CIPS excels Students of Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIPS), Lam, too excelled in the second year pharmacy examination (third semester) held by ANU, said college principal Nadendla Rama Rao.

He said that out of 63 students who appeared in the examination, 54 students secured distinction, while 33 students scored more than 80 per cent marks. K. Ramya Deepita topped the college by scoring 93.1 per cent, followed by J. Nalini (92.28 per cent) and Sk. Sultana (92 per cent). Chalapathi Educational Society president Y.V. Anjaneyulu congratulated the students on their achievement.
